If your family is anything like mine, you are looking forward to watching the Big Game this Sunday. Usually the adults are more into the game than the kids, or more into the party I should say. If you need a little help with ideas to keep the little ones entertained, try one of these:
Commercial Bingo
Instead of numbers, create bingo sheets with popular items that we normally see every year in the commercials, like: cars, dogs, horses, soft drinks, pizza, snack chips, cell phones, movie trailers, celebrities, etc. If you need a sneak peak at the commercials this year, a quick search on the internet will find them for you.
Coloring Station
Designate a table as a craft/coloring station. Cover it with brown paper if it needs to be protected. Put cups with markers/crayons on it. The internet is full of free downloadable football coloring sheets. I'm for sure going here to print out the two team logos.
Find It
Get a small football related item that you can hide in a vacant room. You can start this game anytime the kids are getting rowdy in front of the TV. You hide the item and everyone has to find it. Whoever finds it gets to hide it next.
Lil’ Bets
The official list of items that people can bet on in Vegas is extensive for the Big Game and you have to be a die-hard fan to follow them. But here is a less complicated list of kid friendly bets to keep tabs on. If your feeling really energetic, you can make your own “trophy” for the winner in your family. All you need is a vase, a small football, super glue, spray paint and some time!
