Hi, my name is Brittany and I am the new publisher for Macaroni KID Gardner-Spring Hill-Paola!
My husband, Eric, and I met in 2012 while working together in the finance industry and have been married since 2016. We two fur babies and two young children: Liam, our four year old son, and Willow, our one year old daughter. I love spending time with my friends and family, traveling, planning parties and a nice glass of Pinot Grigio. I enjoy window shopping, listening to live music, volunteering and cheering on our local sports teams.

I grew up in Johnson County, and admittedly - it took me awhile to figure out what "I wanted to be when I grew up". Thankfully, I finally found the answer! In addition to being a wife and mom, I work full time out of the home as an elementary school social worker. I help run our school's social media accounts and single-handedly curate our schools' e-newsletters.
I am active in our neighborhood social committee and assist with planning events. Although some would say I'm a picky eater - I love finding new local restaurants and businesses to support. I also share a personal blog with a family member where we write about anything and everything. I'd love for you to give us a follow, on the blog or via any of our social channels!
I was first introduced to Macaroni KID a couple years ago, when I first started looking for events for my own family to attend. I am also an Assistant for these other local Macaroni KID editions: Overland Park-Olathe-Shawnee, Downtown/South Kansas City, the Northland and Kansas City Kansas/Leavenworth, so you might see some crossover content as I know readers are likely to travel to other nearby areas for various attractions & events!
