For me, baking is more than just a hobby – it's my therapy. That's why I decided to open Squishy Buns Bakery, named after my youngest son's nickname, "Squishy." I'm a full-time working mom of two boys, devoted wife, and a recent transplant to the charming community of Spring Hill, Kansas. When I'm not baking, I love spending time with my family. I've been baking since I was a child, starting with an Easy Bake Oven and working my way up to creating my own recipes. Now, with Squishy Buns Bakery, I'm able to share my passion with others.
Whether you need treats for an event or have a cake in mind that you'd like me to bring to life, I'm here to help. And if you have any dietary restrictions, don't worry – we offer keto and gluten-free options for our dessert bars and cookies.
Giving back is also important to me, which is why a portion of my sales goes to support local and global organizations. I donate to NEWHOUSE shelter, a women's shelter in downtown Kansas City that helps victims of domestic violence. I also support Operation Underground Railroad, which fights against human trafficking and child exploitation worldwide. Recently, I've started sponsoring a young girl named Gratia in Indonesia.
