Sugar Buzz Bakery is a home bakery in Lawrence, Kansas that helps bring desserts and art together to celebrate any life event. It was created by Madison Ham, a local baker who has been baking at home and at commercial bakeries for over 8 years, and specializes in pies, cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.
Growing up in a gluten free household, Madison has a deeper understanding of different allergies and dietary restrictions that she takes very seriously. Madison pushes hard to grow her small business in order to help support her two little boys, Austin (3) and Oliver (1). Sugar Buzz Bakery became an outlet for Madison, especially when her youngest son became deaf from an illness and she was able to connect with him using taste and touch. Madison’s husband, Matthew, has been a vital resource, helping to push Madison to learn new skills and get out of her comfort zone.
She has worked hard to gain a known presence in the Lawrence community, and continues to work hard to help provide for her family and raise her boys. Sugar Buzz Bakery was created with passion and an open mind.
