Third Friday Markets are hosted by the Baldwin City Chamber of Commerce in downtown Baldwin City in partnership with Lumberyard Arts Center, the Baldwin City Recreation Commission, and the Baldwin City Library.
Each market on the third Fridays of June-September consists of vendors offering local food, art, and artisan items; open downtown storefronts; activities for children that are both educational and fun; outdoor games; splash pad; concessions; art gallery openings; free, live music; and starting at 8:45 p.m., a free, outdoor movie. This is a family welcoming event and a great way to spend a summer evening relaxing, supporting local businesses, and connecting with neighbors and the surrounding community. Per Baldwin City ordinance #1196, please do not bring dogs or other critters.
