Description
The Paola Roots Festival is a two-day, family-friendly event held at Park Square. This annual festival has been a source of fun and entertainment for the community, featuring a diverse lineup of live music from national, regional, and local artists. Highlights include arts and crafts, food vendors, the East Central State BBQ Championship Cook-off, and activities for kids such as games and rides.
Who
Ticket prices are $20 for Friday, $25 for Saturday, or a 2-day pass for $40 (saving $5). Children aged 12 and under are free. The festival goes on rain or shine. Tickets can be purchased online starting May 15th, or at the gate. For a discount, the 2-day pass is available at local banks from August 1st to 23rd, including First Option Bank, Great Southern Bank, Security Bank of KC, and First Security Bank.
How
Bring a lawn chair and feel free to bring a cooler with food, drinks, and alcohol (no glass). You must be 21 to drink alcohol.
