Camp Invention at Rockville Elementary School

The weeklong program is led by qualified local educators in your community and shows children in grades K-6 how to cultivate the mindset of an innovator. Each year, our education team works together with our Inductees to create a brand-new STEM curriculum that embraces hands-on learning. In our 2023 program, Wonder, campers build confidence and work together to take on four exciting challenges, exploring innovation, creative problem solving and design thinking, all while developing persistence and having a ton of fun!

Camp Invention at Dayton Creek

21120 W 188th St, Spring Hill, KS 66083

Dayton Creek Elementary will hosts a 4-day Camp Invention: Wonder program this summer, from June 5th through June 8th. This summer camp offers hands-on STEM challenges to inspire young innovators. Campers will explore physics, engineering, art, and problem-solving through building their own skate park, creating DIY riders, personalizing mini skateboards, engineering light-up party hats, creating a bubble art banner, inventing a Party Assistant, transforming robots into animatronic stuffies, and launching their own pop-up business. They will also learn about persistence, intellectual property, and entrepreneurship.

Summer Activities at Osawatomie Public Library

Our summer activities are designed for kids (who will be starting Kindergarten through second grade this fall) will take place on Tuesdays between June 6th and 27th. Programs start at 10:30 unless otherwise noted. Registration is required and limited.

Junior Golf Camp at Sycamore Ridge

21731 Clubhouse Drive, Spring Hill, KS 66083

The Sycamore Ridge Junior Camps are fun programs and games designed to introduce and further educate Juniors 7-13 years old on the game of golf. Each camp is led by experienced instructors who provide instruction over three days leading up to a tournament and pizza party on the final day. Parents can sign their child up by calling the Golf Shop at (913) 592-5292.

The Art Cart KC

In our preschool summer camp children will have the opportunity to create and explore in the outdoors! This 3 hour class will include art projects, water play, mud kitchen, story time with lunch, a nature walk and free play. Preschool children ages 3-6 years old must be potty trained. Please remember to bring a sack lunch.

Exciting summer camp opportunities for kids!โ€จ Get ready for some summer fun and adventure with our range of camps for children of all ages. From art and music to science and coding, we have something for everyone!

Darcy's Art Camp: Let your creativity run wild from June 5-8 with this messy art camp for kids in 2nd through 5th grade.

Rose's Music Camp: Join Mrs. Bentley on a musical journey from June 12-15 at the Louisburg Library. Kids in 2nd or 3rd grade can create their own instruments, write their own songs and more.

Minecraft Mod Camp: For kids in 3rd through 5th grade, we're taking Minecraft to the next level by building our own mods and testing them out. Choose from two sessions: June 12-15 or July 17-20.

Mad Science Camp: From June 20-23, junior scientists in 3rd through 5th grade can explore the wonders of our solar system and learn about the four forces of flight. For preschoolers going into kindergarten, we have a session from June 26-29 that focuses on the natural world. And from July 10-13, kids in 1st and 2nd grade can become super sleuths and learn about the science behind evidence gathering and analysis.

Coding Camp: From July 17-20, kids in 2nd through 5th grade can learn the basics of coding through storytelling and programming robots.

Wildwood Outdoor Educational Center

Camp Wildwood: an outdoor adventure for kids in grades 3 and up! โ€จCamp Wildwood is a five-day, four-night overnight camp for kids entering grades 3 and up. It features a range of outdoor activities such as swimming, fishing, Makerspace exploration, arts, archery, the giant swing, and nature exploration. Cabins are divided by gender and age-level, and each is supervised by a team of adult camp counselors who stay with the group throughout the week. Meals are shared by campers and staff in the dining hall, and evenings are filled with campfire sing-a-longs under the stars.

Leadership Camp: a comprehensive program for teens entering grades 9 to 12โ€จ! If you're a high school student interested in pursuing a career in education or leadership, our multi-year Leadership Camp is the perfect opportunity for you! Designed to meet the specific needs and interests of aspiring camp counselors, this program allows campers to engage in a week of fun activities while learning valuable skills and working with younger campers. Upon completion of the program, participants will be eligible for camp apprentice opportunities.

Lego Camp: This camp is designed for children ages 6-10 years old. Join us Monday, June 19th-Thursday, June 22nd from 6-8pm. We'll have lego building challenges, snacks, games and team building opportunities.

Craft Camp: This camp is designed for children ages 6-10 years old. Join us Monday, June 19th-Thursday, June 22nd from 6-8pm. We'll have summer-themed crafts, snacks, games and team building opportunities.

Collaborative Communication Camp for Children

โ€จThe Sertoma-Schiefelbusch Communication Camp, organized by the Lawrence Sertoma Club and the Shiefelbusch Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic at KU, is designed for children aged 4-10. It's open to both those with and without communication challenges.

SHHS Soccer Camp

Incoming 1st through 7th graders are invited to participate in a soccer camp through Spring Hill Rec. Center at Spring Hill High School. You must register online to attend.
